Position Overview


The Investment Associate will play an integral role throughout the investment lifecycle, supporting senior investment professionals in sourcing, evaluating, executing, and monitoring investments. This position offers significant responsibility, direct exposure to senior leadership, and the opportunity to work on complex transactions across the power and infrastructure landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate investment opportunities across the power, energy, and infrastructure sectors

Build detailed financial models, including LBO, DCF, operating, and project finance models

Perform valuation analysis and sensitivity analyses

Conduct commercial, operational, financial, and market due diligence

Analyze industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory developments

Prepare investment committee memoranda and presentation materials

Coordinate with management teams, lenders, advisors, consultants, and legal counsel throughout transaction execution

Assist in negotiating transaction documentation and financing arrangements

Monitor portfolio company performance through financial reporting, KPI analysis, and strategic initiatives

Support refinancing, add-on acquisitions, recapitalizations, and exit processes

Participate in business development and investment sourcing initiatives

Qualifications

2–4 years of experience in investment banking, infrastructure advisory, project finance, private equity, or infrastructure investing

Strong understanding of financial statement analysis and corporate finance
