As the firm continues to grow its investment platform, it is seeking an Investment Associate to join its investment team.
Position Overview
The Investment Associate will play an integral role throughout the investment lifecycle, supporting the sourcing, evaluation, execution, and ongoing management of infrastructure investments. This individual will work closely with senior investment professionals and portfolio company management teams while gaining significant exposure to complex transactions across multiple infrastructure sectors.
This role offers meaningful responsibility, direct interaction with senior leadership, and the opportunity to contribute across all aspects of the investment process.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate new investment opportunities across a broad range of infrastructure sectors.
Build and maintain complex financial models, including operating models, LBO models, valuation analyses, and sensitivity scenarios.
Perform financial, commercial, operational, and market due diligence on prospective investments.
Prepare investment committee memoranda, presentations, and supporting analytical materials.
Coordinate third-party advisors, including legal, accounting, tax, environmental, technical, and commercial consultants throughout transaction processes.
Support transaction execution through negotiation, diligence, financing, and closing activities.
Monitor portfolio company performance through financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives.
Assist with asset management projects, refinancing opportunities, add-on acquisitions, and exit analyses.
Conduct industry research and identify emerging investment themes within the infrastructure and energy transition landscape.
Participate in management meetings, site visits, lender discussions, and investment committee meetings.
Qualifications
2–4 years of relevant experience within infrastructure private equity, investment banking, project finance, corporate development, or a comparable principal investing environment.
Strong understanding of corporate finance, valuation methodologies, and transaction processes.
Advanced financial modeling and Excel capabilities.
Experience analyzing infrastructure, power, renewable energy, utilities, transportation, or digital infrastructure assets is preferred.
Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, commercial judgment, and a collaborative approach to investing.
