A Snapshot of Your Day
You will work with one of the organization’s most critical business systems—the Tacton CPQ tool—used across multiple business lines to support all complex sales activities. Your day centers around streamlining Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) processes by leveraging the Tacton modeling platform to deliver accurate and efficient product configurations, pricing, and quoting.
Throughout the day, you will collaborate closely with cross functional and global teams, including IT programmers, Tacton modelers, engineering, sales, management, and external consultants. You communicate and coordinate effectively in both Swedish and English, gathering requirements, clarifying needs, and ensuring that solutions align with project objectives across multiple regions and stakeholder groups.
You will run projects in an agile manner, continuously and proactively seeking feedback from sales, R&D, and finance during solution development. Your day also includes validating configuration logic, ensuring accuracy and robustness, and documenting Tacton methodologies processes across the product lines to ensure consistent understanding, alignment, and best practice adoption within the team and organization.
How You'll Make an Impact
• Pro-actively collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for product configuration needs.
• Design, build complex product configuration models in Tacton CPQ to meet business and customer requirements.
• Continuously optimize and improve existing configuration models for efficiency and scalability.
• Management and coordination of meetings for gathering information for implementation projects from various business stakeholders.
• Lead the structuring and documenting effort of “way of working” for the developer team, contributing to consistent processes, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
• Be a crucial part of a cross-functional development team (IT programmer, Tacton modelers, Engineering, Sales, Management, External Consultants) to achieve the set project objectives
• Run projects in an agile manner, by gathering information, and continuously seeking feedback from front line sales, R&D, finance team during solution development.
• Test and validate product configurations to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Provide technical expertise, education and support to sales teams in using Tacton CPQ for quoting, proposal generation and change management.
• Support evaluation and potential implementation and usage of Tacton Analytics tool
What You Bring
You are an experienced CPQ professional who combines strong technical capability with excellent communication and collaboration skills. In this role, you will thrive by working both independently and together within global cross functional teams to drive modeling topics, “way of working” mapping-documentation-implementation, and ensure clarity in requirements and solutions.
Core Capabilities
• Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English, enabling you to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across functions and geographies.
• Proven ability to work independently — driving topics, organizing requirements, leading discussions, and pushing modeling tasks forward with minimal supervision.
• Skilled team collaborator, comfortable working in agile, cross-functional groups including engineering, sales, IT developers, external consultants, and management.
• Extensive experience with CPQ systems, with specific expertise in Tacton modeling.
• Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills to transform business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work efficiently with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a dynamic development environment.
• A background including a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with the Tacton CPQ platform
Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications in Tacton CPQ or similar configuration tools.
• Deep understanding of ERP interactions with CPQ architectures.
• Strong knowledge of object type hierarchies and advanced TCStudio concepts.
• Proficiency in modeling with attributes, features, constraints, and advanced logic.
• Optional but valuable: programming experience for supporting cost price visualization enhancements in excel output file.
